A short list of the best modern nursery art available on Etsy.

Etsy is a great source for original, handmade works that are also affordable. A quick search for the keywords “modern nursery art” on Etsy, revealed a wonderland of pieces handmade by artists around the world. Here is a list of my favorite pieces for your naturally modern nursery.

Piggyback Bird – I love all the quirky animals in these prints by Barking Bird Art. They are available in 4 x 6, 8 x 10, and occasionally the artist has the original paintings for sale. The smaller prints would be great for grouping and since they are only $9-18 you will want to get more than one anyway.

Jungle Boogie Green – Artist Bernadette Sipkes makes these beautiful giclée & gocco art pieces for sale in her Etsy shop Sugarloop. Her whole shop is full of eye candy with gorgeous designs and yummy colors. Pieces range from $15-28.

Create your own grouping of modern art for the nursery with these 5 x 7 Giclee prints by Modern Art Everyday. What I love about these is that they would be equally at home in a modern nursery or transition to any other room in the home. When the nursery is just a memory these prints will work in a powder room, guest room, or kitchen. Individual 5 x 7 prints are $10, boxed set of 5 is $35.

If you like the retro modern look, you will love Jenn Ski. 11 x 14″ giclee print (shown at top of post) is $35. Jenn Ski also makes the cutest animal letter prints. She recommends using them to spell out your child’s name which is perfect for the nursery. The 5 x 7″ letter prints are $14.

Citrus Grove and Forest Motif – These nature-inspired prints by Bees Knees Studio would be perfect for the nursery. Most prints are $15-25.
