September 11th, 2008 · No Comments · Art & Decor, Gear

As a kid memory macthing games were one of my favorites and with a photographic memory I was very good at it (Hmm… always winning, maybe that is why it was my favorite). Last night I ran across Avalisa’s new memory game and I was inspired to find all the great memory games. Here are 7 Modern Memory Games from Designer to DIY.

  1. Avalisa Memory Game – features Avalisa artwork and comes in a beautiful tin (shown at top), entire game is about the size of a deck of cards making it perfect for travel – $15
  2. Maharam Memory Game – two sets of thirty-six cards, featuring textile designs from the Maharam textile collection, including designs by Charles and Ray Eames, Alaxander Girard, and others – $36
  3. Online Maharam Memory Game on the Maharam site under the accessories tab – FREE! (via Ohdeedoh)
  4. Binth Memory Game – screen printed on archival sotck with hand mixed, water-based inks – $44
  5. Laura Ljungkvist Follow The Line Print Your Own Memory Game – on a rainy day you can download and print your own memory game, we recommend printing on recycled card stock (via Black Eiffel)
  6. Bottle Cap Memory Game – this is a great use for all the bottle caps you have removed from your plastic water bottles before recycling, you need an even number of bottle caps and something to cut up for pictures like old magazines or comic books (via Crafty Beats)
  7. Make Your Own Memory Game – using chipboard squares and scrap papers – under $5 (via Creative Chicks at Play)
