I have always been curious about what other people keep in their diaper bags. What are their must have items and what do they leave at home? Well, in case anyone is wondering, here is what I keep in my diaper bag.
- Hotsling - this is my new favorite baby accessory for quick trips with baby to the grocery store or the post office
- Wet Happened? Wet Bag - essential for dirty diapers
- Fuzzi Bunz, G Diapers, or 7th Generation Diapers - depends if I have kept up with laundry and length of the outing
- Aveeno Baby Sunblock - must have, we have the power to teach our kids at a young age how to prevent skin cancer.
- Momspit - the wipeless wipe, which I love for cleaning up after a meal
- Mossy Creek Wooden baby rattle - always need something to entertain those little hands
- Pampers Wipes - I know, I know, I have not gone eco-friendly here yet!
- Born Free bottles with training spout - my son gets breast milk in a bottle during the day
I do not bother with an extra set of clothes. It seems too much to carry and I have not yet needed to change my son’s clothes. I also do not carry baby medicine, like Tylenol or Orajel. I figure if he is sick enough to need medicine we shouldn’t be out. If we will be out for an extended period of time, in a separate bag I keep my hand pump, Bebe Au Lait nursing coverup, and an extra empty bottle. I leave that bag in the car until I need it.
