The book, “Make It!” by Jane Bull is a crafts book targeted at 4-8 year olds. What makes it unique is it also educates kids about environmental issues and teaches them how to repurpose things they already have. For instance, in the above image an outgrown denim skirt was used to make a pocket purse with googly eyes added for fun.

Each craft project has fun environmental facts to go along with it. The book features easy to follow step-by-step pictures for each project. Besides the teachings inside, the book is also eco-friendly. The cover is made of reclcyed materials and all the pages are FSC-certified paper. It is printed with vegetable-based inks.
