More Eco-Art for the Nursery or Playroom

June 25th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Inhabit Stretched Canvas

It was tough, but we managed to find more eco-art that would be great for a nursery or playroom space.

Inhabit Wall Slat

Inhabit has a couple of good options. The stretched canvas prints (shown at top) with natural themes would look nice above the crib. For a bigger statement try the wall slats. Hang three on a wall to make a great focal point. It is probably best to hang the slats out of reach from the crib. Inhabit uses recycled polyester for their art.

K Studio Art

K Studio wall art is embroidered on organic cotton. The simple designs would be right at home in a modern nursery or playroom.

Parvez Taj Kids Art

I am throwing in one more that is NOT eco-friendly, but the artist does other works on Kieri board and aluminum that are eco-friendly. I feel if you choose to purchase this non-eco-friendly piece you will at least be supporting an artist striving to be more eco-friendly. Star #2 by Parvez Taj is part of his kids collection. I love the graffiti style.
