Accessorizing the nursery is like icing on the cake. It solidifies the nursery theme and helps a brand new nursery look lived-in and loved. Safari or animal themes are some of the most popular for both boys and girls, but other than plush animals it can sometimes be difficult to find the perfect accessories. Here are some great Safari-themed accessories from lamps to toy storage:

You have undoubdetly seen the Jonathan Adler Giraffe Lamp, but did you kow it also comes as a sconce? The Giraffe sconces come in left and right facing and are $195 each. I also love Jonathan Adler’s pottery. This stoneware hippo would be great accent in a modern, safari-themed nursery (out of child’ reach of course). The hippo is $250, but generously sized at over 18 inches long.

Wee Gallery always has fun products for the nursery. For the safari theme consider making a mobile by attaching the Jungle Collection Flashcards to a Mobile Kit. Babies love the high-contrast black and white imagery. The best part is you can change out the cards whenever you want. It cists less than $35 to make.

For the coolest toy storage look no further than the Owyn Toy Box by Mod Mom Furniture. Made by a mom, this modern storage solution has two removable leaf shaped lids. The little holes are designed to allow kids to easily remove the lids to get to their toys. Maybe this will make your kids enjoy putting their toys away. The toy box is finished with non-toxic paints and low-VOC water-based polyurethane. We’ve seen this elsewhere for a higher price, but in the Mod Mom Furniture Etsy Shop it is listed at $350.
