I want this so bad! I have been cooking baby food for my son for a couple months now without a steamer or food processor. I use my blender to puree and I have to boil the vegetables. But if I had the Beaba Babycook I would be able to steam, puree, defrost, and reheat all in one small appliance.

This amazing appliance is from France and finally available in America through Williams-Sonoma. Go to their site and watch a short video on how easy it is to use. This compact little appliance has one compartment that does it all. You can steam by plopping in the steamer basket, then remove it and dump in the food along with some of the steaming water and puree or blend. Frozen food can be defrosted and reheated. All in less than 15 minutes. The Babycook is the ultimate in convenience for preparing your own baby food.
I like tht it has uses beyond just baby food. It will also be useful for making steamed veggies for side dishes. Since it can blend and puree it can easily substitute for a food processor. Since I have a tiny kitchen I am always on the look out for multi-tasking appliances to save space.
Thanks to Design Mom for tipping us off to this great find.
