Green Defined: Oeko-Tex

April 22nd, 2008 · No Comments

Oeko-tex is an international certification system for testing textiles for harmful substances. Oeko-tex certification looks at the entire textile manufacturing process to ensure no harmful substances have been used at any stage of the production process. The factories and mills where Oeko-tex certified textiles are manufactured are considered safe for workers. Only products that have been tested and certified by the Oeko-tex Association can use the Oeko-tex label.

Visit the Oeko-tex Association for more information.
