We know it is like comparing apples to oranges, but we are trying to find the most covenient, eco-friendly diapering solution.

We have been towing the line between disposables and cloth diapers since our son was born over 7 months ago. We use Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers at home and disposables while he is at daycare. We were really excited to learn about G Diapers, which are a hybrid cloth/disposable diaper.
We love our Fuzzi Bunz, but we have been having some leakage issues during the night. I guess our son is a super soaker. We have tried multiple inserts and hemp inserts but we still have nighttime leaks. Nothing is worse in my opinion than having to upset a sleeping baby to change their clothes in the middle of the night.

So I ordered the G Diaper Starter Pack. I am hoping they will provide us with a more absorbent nighttime option and perhaps a better option when we are out and about. I also love the fact that they are still an eco-friendly diapering solution. The disposable liners are safe to flush down the toilet or can be composted (breaking down in less than 2 months).
We just started using the G Diaper and so far we are leak-free during the night. We also heard you can use cloth inserts in the G Diaper, so we will be trying that next. We will follow-up and let you know how we like the G Diapers.
