Eye Candy: Indoor Playhouses

July 16th, 2009 · 4 Comments · Furniture, Nursery Style

What a dream these would be… makes me wish I was a kid again. I didn’t have a playhouse, but my cousin did under the stairs in the basement. Recently I was over at her parents house and we took my son in the playhouse, but I could hardly fit in. He loved it and I wish I had room for one in our current house. Here are some that I love:

This one was built in under the eaves during construction. I love how the kids were always a part of the plan for the house. See Rus’s blog for all the pictures.

Two pictures still don’t do this amazing playroom with built-in playhouse justice. There is a two-story built in playhouse (second picture is of the second floor). I love the slide and the monkey bars outside the house. Via Beehive State Builders.

I think building an indoor treehouse for your children is a really great idea. What a way for the children to play safely.

Stunning. Would love to do something like this, but space is an issue! Also, I gotta keep in mind once the kids have out grown the playhouse what am I going to do with it

I just love this last playhouse. It’s awesome and creative. I’m getting some ideas for my sons playhouse.
