Amy Butler Giftwrap Green

August 4th, 2008 · 1 Comment · Resources

Oh Amy, I love everything you make from patterns to fabric and now finally something eco-friendly! Wrapping presents in beautiful papers and bags is one of life’s simple pleasures, but it is generally wasteful and not so good for the environment. Amy Butler is changing the face of gift giving with Giftwrap Green.

Not only are all the bags, boxes, and wrapping paper 100% post-consumer recycled material, but they are beautiful enough to save and reuse (they are also recyclable). The wraps are printed with soy-based inks. Gift bags include recycled/biodegradable tissue paper. I love the unique shapes of the gift bags and of course the beautiful patterns.

The collection is sold in sets so you will always be prepared. A set of 4 gift bags is $18. The gift wrap assortment which includes 4 gift bags, 3 rolls of wrapping paper, biodegradable tissue paper, and two gift card cases is $34.25.

Oh.. I love these! I am always looking for new ways. I have started putting fabric into those gift bags instead of the tissue paper.

This is a great price and a wonderful idea!

    Thanks for the information!
