The creator is a father who wanted a safer cup for his own son. The Kids Basix mantra is “Making kids’ lives better”.

They come in blue, pink, and green with orange accents. The body of the cup is medical-grade, non-leaching, non-toxic stainless steel. It has a straw shaped spout, shown by speech development experts to be safer for developing mouths. There is a no-leak valve and the base is surrounded in insulating thermoplastic rubber.
