Basic H2 Concentrated CleanerGreen and Clean Mom has a new site! To celebrate we have teamed up to host a giveaway with the prize provided by Green and Clean Mom. The prize for one lucky winner is a 16 oz. bottle of the Basic H2 Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate by Shaklee. It is a super concentrated, non-toxic, natural, and biodegradable cleaner. We will be posting our review of Basic H2 midweek. Giveway runs through June 8!

Green and Clean Mom is a must read for every parent. With a motto like “being green can be sexy, sassy, and fun”, what’s not to love? In addition to a new look, the new Green and Clean Mom site offers green shopping alternatives, a social networking site and forum, green fundraising opportunities and so much more! I was checking out the new site today and I love it. The Green and Clean Mom forum is going to be invaluable for moms who are already green and moms that are new to being green, like me. I love learning from the wisdom of other moms.

      To clean toilet bowls, I like to sprinkle baking soda or borax in the bowl, leave for a few minutes, then pour some vinegar in it. Then I swish around with the brush.

      Tip: Mix 1/2 cup lemon juice and 1 cup olive oil to polish your wood surfaces. If you just want a light dust, use a very, very damp rag.

      We use my son’s old washcloths and burp rags for napkins and rags!

      We utilize the paper bags from the grocery store to put our recyclable paper in. We use the plastic bags as garbage bags for the bathroom garbages. Thank you for the giveaway!
