My best green decorating tips? First, a ton of recycling from the older kids (I have 3 girls). Next, earth friendly paints. Finally, keep stuff to a minimum – don’t over consume.
If I were to win, I’d want the brown. It’s really lovely.

We buy a lot of great vintage things from thrift stores and garage sales. I just like the look of the older things instead of new, plus knowing there is a story behind each piece makes my heart happy. And im helping the earth at the same time by reusing!!
I love the brown. Thank you so much.

We also use a lot of hand me down items instead of buying new. When we are done with everything we pass it on to someone else. Also we have replaced all of our bulbs with CFL bulbs.
I love both the blue ones and the brown ones!

Look for bamboo furniture. We love the look of bamboo for flooring, furniture, even dinnerware.
I like the brown one!

Look for fabrics made of bamboo — bamboo is now being made into all sorts of products — used to be just a pesky plant, that you couldn’t get rid of, now it can be fabric, clothing, carpet, furniture the list is endless, and healthier as well as good for the environment too. AND think “out of the box” to reuse just about anything. We have made planters out of old drainpipe – we cut and painted. And I like the blue sheet. Thanks.

I use light bulbs that are more eco friendly. They might be expensive, but they go a long way. I absolutely love the brown / white sheet.

Flor carpet tiles look great in nurseries! The company will even take back your tiles when you’re done for recycling!
I would LOVE the blue one!

We recycle and we also use solar powered lights in the garden.
I love the Blue! If not, the pink would be nice too. Thanks!

My best eco-friendly tip for Kiddos is the library and the book store! We go every week to the library and check out about 10 new books. The kids absolutly love the books and I love it that it’s free and they are learning something. I also like taking them to the bookstore to see more of the touch and feel books and listening to story time. It’s free fun and the kids love it and look forward to it!!

I love the blue…as far as decorating ..we use a lot of natural materials to decorate…bowls filled with seashells…flowers from the garden….recycled containers..etc. It’s fun to see the many ways you can incorporate eco friendly decorating…there are also so many great websites.

I have used old sheet sets to make cloth napkins, pillows, etc. If its fabric and not being used I will rip it apart and make something else. It was a great way to use sheets from back when I was single since we don’t even have that size of bed.
I would like pink or brown if I win. Thanks!
