Wall Decals have become a huge trend in nursery design. They are great for decorating plain walls as an alternative to painting, wallpapering, or buying expensive art. There are several eco-friendly wall decal options available. Here are a couple of our favorites:
The Blik WEE Gallery Decals (shown at top) made from a layer of self-adhesive, repostionable prolypropolene film (called Re-Stik). These are cute reproductions of hand-drawn images designed to stimulate babies eyes and brain with high-contrast balck and white.

Blik offers several styles in Re-stik. Another style we like from Blik also in Re-Stik is Dots.

Beearo makes beautiful wall decals manufactured from composite wood veneers from environmentally sustainable sources. The result is very rich, elegant looking decals in striking designs. Downside is the high price tag.

Alternatively, you can purchase individual shapes for a few dollars each and make your own design.
