I am sure kids would love this
treepee, but I want one for myself. I think a suspended tree house would make a great outdoor office, although I am not sure how much work will get done in between naps. Via

I hope you are all having a wonderful 4th of July. We are going to go get smores supplies to make over the grill and hopefully we can get the baby up for firewroks later tonight.

Don’t these kabobs look refreshing and yummy? They feature my son’s favorite two berries along with marshmallows. Via

I am checking out the new
Bambino Mio Diapering Solution available at Pacifier (and currently 10% off). I am super impressed with the consistent branding of this line as well as the thoughtfulness to consider every aspect of cloth diapering especially the maintenance and cleaning part. I am not aware of any other diaper manufacturers that offer a cleanser, diaper pail, and laundry bags for storing and washing dirty diapers. Of course you can find all of these thing separately, but it is refreshing to have one company going the extra mile to make the entire cloth diapering experience easier.

EcoAyris is another relatively new seller on Etsy specializing in eco-friendly children’s furniture. They offer two awesome cribs both made from FSC certified wood and non toxic finishes. The style is decidedly modern and you can choose from several finishes. The prices are very comparable if not better than other eco manufacturers at only $777-850. Plus they offer free shipping.

I am finally getting around to sharing these magazine holders I made my husband for Father’s Day. This project was inspired by this amazing photo my husband took of the new Guthrie theater in Minneapolis. I wanted to give him a great way to store his books in the closet. These are super simple, but I thought I’d share a brief tutorial in case you are wondering how to make your own. Here is the step by step to embellish plain magazine holders with a favorite photo for instant functional art. [Read more →]

I have added a
new woodland poster design to the shop and I am particularly taken with this one. How can you not fall hopelessly in love with a faux bois deer and a lace bunny?

I am offering this poster in lavender and aqua colorways, both with rich chocolate and modern lime green. Posters are $25 and feature free personalization with your tiny one’s first and middle names. I made these two up for a dear friend who has recently moved to the midwest. This will be a housewarming gift for her two adorable kids.

Congratulations Heather! You have won a box of Inhabit Living Architect Wall Flats! Please e-mail me to claim your prize.
Heather said:
I love these! i would use these on the wall behind our bed to create more of a focal point in our room. we have a simple headboard with whites and grays in the room, so although theres not a lot of color this would add to the different textures!
I can’t wait to see Heather’s Wall Flat Bedroom Makeover. Please send me a pic when you are done.

Just found this little beauty on Etsy. This
modern bamboo bassinet is handmade from vertical grain carbonized bamboo plywood with a walnut stain. I love the simple lines, I am a sucker for anything bamboo, and the sweet decal tops it all off. Mod Owl Furniture just opened on Etsy in May by a finish carpenter looking to bring his own designs to reality.
