Modern Twist on Gender-Neutral Nursery Design
December 3rd, 2008 · 1 Comment

The newest design in the Nursery Design Guide puts a twist on the traditional gender-neutral nursery. Instead of using green or yellow, we punched it up with bold reds balanced by soothing blues and chocolate browns. The result is a modern nursery equally fit for a boy or girl. Read all about the nursery and get product details here.

December 2nd, 2008 · No Comments

Olli and Lime has done it again, adding another hip product to their line up with their reversible changing mats. The mats that come in many diaper bags are so bland, swap them out for a new modern changing mat that doubles as a soft play mat.

Eco-Chic Modern Holiday Stockings
December 1st, 2008 · No Comments

I wanted to share a new pic of our Organic Stockings with you. Featured here are the Riverstones and Flowing Dots Stockings in Mint and Red. I love the raspberry and mint combination as a great modern twist on the traditional red and green.

I also wanted to share a new stocking…the Enchanted Forest Stocking. This one coordinates perfectly with the Basil Clara and Basil Atticus Stocking, yet it has a more whimsical print perfect for your tiny ones.
Stockings are available for $24 each at www.tinydecor.etsy.com and now on www.tinydecor.com in the new Holiday category.

Calling All Etsy Sellers
November 26th, 2008 · 1 Comment
Are you looking for a new way to promote your shop, meet other sellers, and make some sales?
There is a new BNR (Buy and Replace Thread) in town that can help you do all that and more. Before we get into that, let me explain what a BNR is. A Buy and Replace Thread starts out with a list of Etsy shops. When someone purchases something from one of those shops, their shop listing replaces the listing of the shop they bought from. Your shop listing stays on the thread until someone buys from you and takes your place. It is a fantastic way to promote your shop, meet other Etsy sellers, and make a few sales. All of the shops in the BNR are usually required to check in periodically and promote the thread. That means if you are part of the BNR you will have a bunch of other great shops helping promote your shop.
The Premium Shops of Etsy BNR is aimed at increasing the average BNR sale. Nothing is worse than buying into a BNR for $20 and getting bought off for only $5. The Premium Shops of Etsy BNR has a minimum buy-in of $35. That means to get into the BNR you need to make a minimum $35 purchase, but it also means your spot cannot be taken unless someone makes a minimum $35 purchase from your shop.
To promote this new BNR we are having a little visitor challenge to get other Etsy sellers to stop by and say hi and check out the shops. I would be honored if all the Etsy sellers out there reading this post would stop by to say hello, say Tiny Decor sent you, and post a link to your favorite item from one of the shops in the BNR. Go here to post your message on the thread. And of course, it is never to early to start your holiday shopping and snag a spot for yourself on the BNR. Thanks for your help and I look forward to seeing you on the Premium Shops of Etsy BNR thread!

Irresistibly Cute Wooden Toys
November 26th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Little Alouette has a great selection of handmade wooden toys, but one of my favorites is the Myla Belle Maple Wood Teether Key Set. The wood is gorgeous and the shape of the keys is ideal for teething. My son seemed to get all his teeth at once and the molars were the worst because he couldn’t get anything back there to chew on. These keys would have been perfect for his teething woes. $20
